See the full steps in the Account article on website and extension sign-in sync. refresh the panel or sign in again from the panel menu in the same Chrome profile.
See I signed in on the website but the extension still shows Sign in for the full steps. the fix is usually refreshing the panel or signing in again within the same Chrome profile.
