Why does the extension need Chrome permissions?

LINA uses side panel, storage, tabs, context menus, identity, and host permissions. the minimum needed to show its UI, save settings, detect the current site, enable right-click analysis, support Google sign-in, and run on Reddit, Gmail, and Outlook.

| Permission | Why LINA needs it | |------------|-------------------| | Side panel | Shows the LINA UI alongside the page you're on | | Storage | Saves your session, settings, and site preferences locally on your device | | Tabs | Detects which site you're on to show the right tools | | Context menus | Powers the "Analyze with LINA" option when you highlight text | | Identity | Enables Google sign-in | | Host permissions | Allows LINA to run on Reddit, Gmail, Outlook, and LINA's own website |

LINA requests the minimum permissions needed to function. The UI runs in an isolated side panel and does not inject global styles into pages you visit.
