Can I use LINA as a guest?
Yes. You can continue as a guest on the extension without creating an account. Guest access works without email but doesn't sync across devices. Creating a free account lets you keep settings and unlock upgrades.
When you open the LINA extension for the first time, you have three options:
- Continue with free access (guest). try LINA quickly on this device without an account
- Create an account. save progress and sync usage across sessions and devices
- Sign in. returning users with an existing LINA account
Guest access works without an email address. Creating an account lets you keep settings and unlock upgrades. If you started as a guest, signing up with email or Google upgrades the same session on that device without losing progress.
On the web app, you need to be signed in for full analysis access. LINA can start an anonymous session in some flows and let you upgrade to a full account later.
